Anyone else addicted to these things? I follow this recipe: http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/toasted_pumpkin_seeds/ and I just can't get enough of these. Only thing is, no store around me sells pumpkin seeds by themselves, so every year, I have a bunch of pumpkins outside my door. People think I'm being festive, but really, it's all for the seeds.

LOL nice I like them but am to lazy to make them. I think the last time I actually tried to make some I burned the chit out of them.....now that we are on the topic my brother had a pumpkin carving party last night and they were going to make the seeds. I think I might have to stop over there tomorrow to "see their pumpkins".

I made some last night when we did pumpkins. pretty tasty for sure.
I use this stuff to season literally everything from steak to veggies and it works really well on pumpkin seeds as it turns out. -
I'm a big seed fan. The homemaid ones are much much better than the store ones for some reason. The ones in the store just seem to have too much shell.

Me too. Huge fan of Pumkin seeds. The store ones aren't very good, and only available (around here) during the season... now.
Every year I bake the Pumkin seeds and eat most of them tooLove that toasty flavour of them when roasted.

you're from Canada so you spell flavor with a u. always wondered why that was. is it the British thing or??? i know it's still correct spelling but yeah, differentlaker1963:Me too. Huge fan of Pumkin seeds. The store ones aren't very good, and only available (around here) during the season... now.

Yeah it's a British thing. I try to use the more common spelling most of the time but, hey old habits die hard as they say, and that is what they taught in school way back when. LOL.dennisking:

Still have trouble not always thinking in Imperial Measure, as opposed to the Metric system or the US measure. I always have to see the temp. in both, to be satisfied. -
