    It's old, but scotch only continues aging when it's left in the cask. Once it's in glass, no.

    Wow, that's a great find. I would love to own a bottle of that stuff just from the mere fact that it's historical. If you don't know the story of Ernest Shackleton, you should really check it out. Great story of human endurance, determination and not to mention loyalty.

    I really hope that Whyte and MacKay's is able to discern the ingredients and replicate it for mass distribution. I will definately by a bottle of that! My first trip to Scotland in 1998 I got to tour their distillery, which was awesome because my last name is McKay. All I really came away with was a really cool t-shirt and one awesome memory which I will never forget.
