Just for the summer? Or planning on long-term? Sounds like a plan though!!
Saw a red-tailed hawk sitting on our back fence the other night .... no more than 30 feet from the house.
Saw him the next day high up in the evergreen tree out front.
It took off and then about a half hour later saw it flying by with something small in it's talons, thinking it had caught a bird or maybe a mouse.
There's a yoga studio down the street from our house .... they offer a "beginner's" series each month, with 1 session/week for a month.
Wife has been talking about trying it out since we moved there last Dec, but never found the time .... and I've been thinking about it too, but I was hesitant about yoga...
Well yesterday was the start of beginners series, wife finally said she was going .... and I decided to give it a shot too ....
I was pretty skeptical/hesitant going into it .... but I gotta say, there's something to it because I feel better!
Don't get me wrong, it was still a bit of a "workout" --- lots of stretching, moving, and positions that my body wasn't used to. I definitely stretched some muscles I didn't know I had, LOL ... and some joints cracked and creaked that I'd never heard before. But I left feeling relaxed, and just didn't feel sore like I normally do (still feeling good this a.m. too).
We'll see what next week brings .... but if any of y'all have thought about it, but are hesitant like I was, I'd say give it a try - at least once.
