Great great band. Do you listen to a lot of crossover?
Listening to "Duke Nuken 64" by Crooked Teeth. Favorite female vocalist in the game right now. http://www.myspace.com/crookedteethrva
Crossover? Have to say the only female vocalist I have ever liked in heavy music is the singer for Walls Of Jerhico....
Crossover is a genre that combines early hardcore and early thrash (Suicidal Tendencies are considered one of the first crossover thrash bands, alongside DRI)
I listen to a heck of a lot of Mike Doughty, especially during cigar time. He's the lead singer from the 90s band Soul Coughing who went solo when they broke up. Not well known but he's got a way with words and catchy rhythms. Haughty Melodic is probably his best (and best produced) album for anyone interrested.
Not sure how you gents check out new music but I found Grooveshark awhile ago and it's great. Has the same "build a station" function as Pandora, but you can also make custom setlists and listen to specific songs.
Got the latest BT album and really like it. Also love the new Kamchatka (if you're into blues, check these guys out) and The Company Band (Neil from Clutch with the CKY guys - very bluesy hard rock).
I just found a new ( to me) band ...Citizen Cope. The song Healing Hands, Now I have to go spend some time on YouTube and catch up and see what I have been missing for the past ten years. I hate it when I am the last to know.
Young Jeezy - Go Getta
Young Jeezy - I Luv It
DJ Khaled - We Takin Over
Asher Roth - I Love College
Lil Wayne - In My Life
Children of Bodom
Fear Factory
Hatebreed - Redneck.... the video is pretty funny too
In Flames
Trivium
GnR ~ Estranged followed by You Could Be Mine
Pink Floyd ~ P.U.L.S.E (both live CD's best ever)
Motorhead ~ Ace of Spades
Some Johnny Horton (I have the oddest music collection)
Freebird!
some ICP/Twiztid (and this was just during my afternoon smoke well minus some of the Pink Floyd double live album)
got tons more just too much to list
