Heartfelt bead tubes

So i was looking on the Heartfelt site and was looking at the tubes for my next humidification system. Are those tubes "vented" so that you just leave them in the tube and it does its job from there? how does that work?

if you are near a pet store that sells fish supplies you could always pick up a couple of bags that are used for carbon, they sell them empty in various sizes and numbers! thats what i did! and fwiw, i use kitty litter in my cooler and it is rock solid, with little to no maintenance

Do the bags made for fish tank use keep the kitty litter dust from getting everywhere?

i havent noticed any dust to speak of from the exquisicat brand! but the bags do keep the dust from the carbon outta the tank
