Seasoning with active humidifaction?
insomnniapb
Hey guys. I can't remember where I read this, but somewhere (maybe it was on a youtube vid or something). I saw something about not having to season a humi if you are using active humidification. The reason I ask is I finally got my wineador set up with my shelves in etc, and am seasoning atm. I am going the route of letting it season properly! I can't seem to think of any reasons why this wouldn't work though? Does anyone have any opinions or better yet facts to back this up or shoot it down?
Thanks,
David

ALWAYS season right.
active, passive, it doesnt matter.
just do it right.
it will never hurt to season.
i could actually make the argument that even with active humidificatioj you need to season.
i suspect that even active humidification cant put out moisture fast enough to keep up with dry wood soaking it up for a few days.

Thanks kuzi that is indeed the thought process I had. It can't be bad in any way to season. It can only make it more stable... I would believe having active in would make the seasoning move along a bit quicker though?
