California Herf!!!

Ok guys, I know there are more than a few of us here in the Golden State, so it's high time we start thinking about getting a good herf going. Right now, we're looking at the most basic formative stages of this, the first step is figuring out where you all are so we can pick the place that best satisfies the problem of distance.

For starters, post up what city you are in if you live in CA. This is going to be a serious consideration on my part, and the outcome is only as good as the planning that goes into it. So help me out here and get to posting. (Note: the county in which you reside would also be helpful in case I'm not familiar with the city)

If all goes well, maybe we could be looking at a late fall get-together.

I can't wait for some good old american fare. I've had Korean, Vietnamese (2), Burmese, Indian, Ethiopian, Mexican, and Malaysia all in 5 days.

Pork is on the smoker. It will go through the night and hopefully be ready in the morning...if not, into the oven she goes to finish. There is a big bone, so there'll be some sweet meat. I can almost taste it.

This is the first time I've left pork in the smoker unattended...no way I was staying up all night this time. It's actually kinda cool, the last time I saw the pork it was raw, I just looked in on it and now it's damn near black and considerably smaller. This is gonna be good. Daniel Z is gonna be pissing his pants if the before picture made him pee a little. Time for Depends.
