#7 of 50 comes to us from the incomparable Lee again. Being that it is still cold here and very snowy, I went with another Hemingway Short Story, but a maduro this time. Thanks again Lee for a great winter length smoke! It was delicious! IMAG0101 By the time spring rolls around, I'll have no choice but to smoke cigars that are toro or larger because all of the smaller ones will be long gone.

Monte Sevens, weird monte I've never heard of. Burn is kind of funky, but the profile is awesome. Thanks bro image

I traded a San Latano oval last week while I was at the Phoenix Open for the Monte 7s. Mine started funky but finished well. Greg, the previous owner of the Monte 7s was from San Franciso and said he got his sticks from his local B&M that has a MonteCristo club.

Can't forget to give credit where credit's due ... over the past couple weeks I've been working my way through some cigars that Jim and Davis bombed me with. AJ Fresh rolled, La Palina, 101 Daruma just to name a few .... thanks for the smokes, guys.

Am I really only on cigar #8? Dang, I really need the weather to warm up to get to my 50th consecutive gifted cigar. Tonight, I smoked what I believe is my last 4" cigar (so I'm really going to need warmer temps to continue on, lol). This little gem comes from the ISOM by way of Junior. Thank you very much dude! This was a very nice little cigar! IMAG0105

Had a tasty Oliva V Melanio from James last night.
Thanks for the smoke brother!! These have really improved over the last couple months, a little humi-time has done wonders for this blend.

Hit up the casino last night and grabbed numbers 10 and 11 in my trek to 50. First up was a Zino Platinum Scepter Grand Master courtesy of Zeebra. Sorry about the picture, I was busy donating money at the time. IMAG0109 I followed that up with an AVO LE10 from Steve. IMAG0110 Both were rather delicious. Thanks guys. Despite not winning, I got to enjoy some really nice sticks!

If I had to guess, my money is on Pepin making it. Being a fan of JC's stuff, it def tastes like a JC blend but with the kick of DPG. Given the age, these are a lot more powerful up front as well. I made sure and bought all of them from the shop when I saw the cello ;)

I did enjoy it greatly, much more so than the gurk ninja I had following :/ I could never put my finger on where I have had a similar profile before but this was probably a few years ago in my early days. I did get spice throughout and leather, it was snowing and a bit cold to concentrate further but definitely something I will try again.

I had a Graycliff Avelino Lara 80th on the golf course today from C-LOVE. First third was a little bland, but the latter 2 thirds were delightful. It was only about a half inch long when I was forced to put it down. MMMM tasty. Thanks Chris.

"Winter Smoke" from the teach. It had minor construction issues, but was and all around good cigar. I love a figurado like this because it changes so much from third to third.image
