Looked around and could not find anything. I have a 150qt cooler that is pretty empty (HUSH). HonorKnight recently sent a little 25 stick humi, that's sitting in the cooler open. Do you guys think that this will season the humi to whatever the cooler is at?
So after replying to Jd in another post, it made me wonder and want to ask about cigars purchased from a B&M's walk in where sticks are also stored for a bit before put into the shelves for sale... I go to a local B&M here in town that only sells there make "Hatuey Cigars" at least once a month if not every week and buy my…
I'm about to get my first humidor tomorrow. I know that I will need to season the humidor for at least a few days before adding my newly purchased cigars; but I'm thinking that I'm going to leave the cello on all of the cigars and I am wondering if that will increase the time that I would need to allow them to rest. I'm…
I have seen on here that some use a battery operated fan the goes off ats set interval, meaning not running constantly. I have looked and looked and I cannot find the thread that mentions these. Anyone have one and what are they using?
Advice please. (begs) Hello, I have been having trouble with my cigar inventory, most days I smoke a morning cigar, a mid day cigar, and after dinner I will have a cigar with my wife out on the patio, so on most days 2-3 humidor openings per day (my wife only smokes once a day in the evening with me and she likes vanilla-…
Hello all. I just came inside from chucking a whole CC Montecristo Tubo (I smoked 1/2 of an inch). It was so tight that I got a headache trying to draw through it. I used a guillotine cutter so it wasn't a problem with the size of the opening. What can cause a cigar to be so tight? Is it just a bad rolling job?
I hear you guys talking about the 3x3 and the 4x4 Davidoff. I look at the Davidoff selection on the c.com list and I cannot find them. What am I missing?
Hey guys. So the big cello on-or-off debate can be argued both ways since cellophane is supposedly porous, but glass tubos aren't, and some of them come with a supposed "air-tight" seal with wax or cork or both. So, what should one do regarding glass tubos in the short term and long term storage?
Some websites list the Sam Leccia White as having a Cameroon wrapper. Others and the official Leccia website say 'African Sun Grown' wrapper. Is it a Cameroon sun grown wrapper or some other variety? Also, if not what other varieties of leaf come from Africa?
So i was checking on everything in the wineador and I noticed a few cigars were wet. Luckily they were in cello so the water didnt actually touch them. The fan and drain hole are right in the middle. I have the drain sealed with a tube running down to some KL. I assume the water is getting blown on them from the fan cause…
